Panel Description
Universities around the world are looking for different ways to support their students and professors in order to improve learning outcomes and student experience. Artificial Intelligence has proven to be an effective tool for this purpose in tasks such as early detection of dropouts and the identification of factors that contribute to the academic success of students. However, there are several obstacles that universities must overcome to ensure that the application of AI produces a tangible result, e.g. data integration, development and application of predictive models, either with the participation of academics or consulting companies. This workshop proposes a roadmap that Iberoamerican universities can follow to deploy an AI-based solution. Participants will be invited to join the LALA SIG community to receive advice in these processes and participate in further research calls of the IFE Living Lab & Data Hub.
