Dr. Mildred López is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has a PhD in Educational Innovation and Master’s in quality systems and Productivity. She is a Mechatronic Engineer and a Psychologist. She is a Level I Researcher in the National System of Researchers (SNI) in Mexico, an Associated Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), and a Fellow of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education (FAIMER). She is active in professional organizations such as the Latin American Federation of Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety (FLASIC), the National Network of Educators in Clinical Simulation (RENASIM) in Mexico, and the Healthy Living for Pandemic Event Protection (HL - PIVOT) network. She is the author of 3 books, has authored more than 80 publications and 13 book chapters on educational innovation in health.
