Dr. Valdez is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon, where he obtained a Bachelor in Educational Sciences. Also, he obtained a Bachelor in Education-Literature at Normal Superior de la FEP. He has a Master’s Degree in Education, Cognition Sciences from Tecnologico de Monterrey, and a PhD in Educational Technology and Innovation at the Tecnologico de Monterrey. Dr Valdez has held several senior executive positions in the Mexican Government and private institutions: President of Universidad Politécnica de Chihuahua, Undersecretary of Higher Education of the State of Chihuahua, President of Red Nacional de Universidades La Salle México, among others. He is currently Dean of Leaders for Tomorrow’s Program, focusing on guiding the development of educational technology that fosters inclusion, whilst enabling individuals to improve and develop themselves.
