Joanna Alvarado-Uribe holds a PhD in Computer Science, with a major in Intelligent Systems, from Tecnologico de Monterrey. Joanna is currently the Data Hub Leader in the Department of Living Lab & Data Hub of the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico. She is an Associate Professor of the strategic line research group in Artificial Intelligence from Tecnologico de Monterrey. Moreover, Joanna is a member of the National Research System (SNII) – Level 1 in Mexico, an adherent member of the Mexican Academy of Computing (AMEXCOMP), and a member of the CONAHCYT Collaboration Network on Applied Computational Intelligence (RedICA). She has participated in various projects using Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. In addition, within the IFE Data Hub, she conducts research and provides consulting on educational topics, such as student dropout and success.
