Ignacio J. Idoyaga is a PhD in science education from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Biochemist and professor of physics. Deputy Director for the Science Education Research and Support Center, and a researcher and member of the Academic Committee of the Higher Education Research Institute. He is also director and member of different research projects in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico. His academic output includes papers, books and conferences. His research topics include visual representations and digital experimental activities. He participates in postgraduate courses in specialization and master's programs. He trains human resources by acting as postgraduate thesis director. He is the president of the Argentine Association of Physics Teachers and at the Inter-American Dialogue Table for Science Education, as well as Executive Secretary for the Science Education Research Groups Consortium of Argentina.
