Francisco A. Tamayo Enríquez is an entrepreneur, consultant, and international professor with more than 25 years of professional experience in quality, manufacturing, and continuous improvement management positions in leading transnational companies in the automotive (Yazaki) and energy (General Electric) industries. He is co-founder and currently COO of SEREX, a technology start-up focused on the development of Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality experiences, integrated with other multichannel technologies to optimize industrial and higher education training. Francisco is a graduate and engineering professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey in the areas of Lean Systems, Lean Six Sigma, Technological Innovation, Problem Analysis and Solution, and Design Thinking, having obtained 3 times the recognition of best professor and the recognition of Distinguished Faculty EGADE Business School for his academic performance.
Francisco holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems, a Master's degree in Quality Systems, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and in 2020, he completed the Smart Manufacturing Certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
